One of the best things I ever got to do for accessibility awareness was when I got to take the CEO of the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario on a tour of the building, but with a twist. He too was confined to a wheelchair, no standing allowed. I pulled out all the stops, pilons in the way, small elevators, wet floor signs blocking the path, you name it! It was a great opportunity to share my passion about accessibility and have the chance to talk more about how to increase accessibility at CHEO.
